Hey all, apologies for the lateness of this blog! So the ministry is in a season of being changed and challenged, God is putting me in many situations that stretch me and in all honesty there have been times I’ve wanted to run! We all know the story of Jonah in the bible and how God sends him to a difficult land called Nineveh but instead he runs the opposite way, well that’s how I’ve been feeling. God is taking me into a new land, a new territory and when i went to visit i wanted to run away and hide. I saw how difficult it would be and i kept thinking  ‘How am i meant to do this!’ But that’s just it guys I’m not the one who can do it, i need to rely completely on God for all i need and for all I’m going to do out there. I can’t just wade into the situations out there and fix them only Jesus can do that, however that doesn’t mean that i will just stand still and wait. Waiting is good and right at certain times but often God wants us to take that first step and He meets us in that. So i went to the new land he is sending me too, did i love it? No am i going again YES! I put aside all my fears and questions and did the one thing God was asking me to do and the only thing i could do, to say Yes to His plans and ways! So I’m at this point at the moment guys, if your there too I’m praying for you, if you need to decide yes trust in Gods plans! If today you don’t know the Lord i urge you to get to know him as He knows you and loves you and His plans are perfect for our lives!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” Declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, Plans to give you Hope and a Future.”

Easter is nearly upon us i cannot beleive it. The shops are full of easter eggs and bunnies, little chicks and all sorts. Its quiet hard these days to see the real meaning of easter anywhere! I suppose a big wooden cross, or a cown of thorns, or maybe some nails wouldn’t look as nice in a shop window but that is the reality of what easter is! Someone asked me am i making this up as i go along, well no not to me. I see the bible as truth every last word and i believe tommorow, good friday is the day Jesus Christ of Nazareth was crucified on a cross, wearing a crown of thorns and why? For no reason whatsoever, he was an innocent man, and yet He hung on that cross for me and for you. He took our place, it was us who were meant to be on that cross, but Jesus stepped in because he Loves us and his love is perfect. Some find this hard to beleive because they can’t imagine someone loving them that much but whether you believe or not today I know the love of God and its life changing!

So tommorow is good friday let it not just roll past like another day but instead remember Jesus did it for you!

Luke 24 Vs 44-48

‘By this time it was noon, and darkness fell across the whole land until three o’clock. The light from the sun was gone. And suddenly, the curtain in the sanctuary of the temple was torn down the middle. Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” And with those words he breathed his last. When the Roman officer overseeing the execution saw what had happened, he worshiped God and said, “Surely this man was innocent” And when the crowd that came to see the crucifixion saw what had happened, they went home in deep sorrow’

So this week I’m challenged when something tough comes our way do we all run or do we stand before it and shout, ‘Bring it on!’ I wish I could say the latter but often I pray God get me out of here!

As a world I don’t think were taught well how to handle life when the bumps come along! But no where in the bible does it once say we will have it easy, Why? God knew we would have tough times, and yet so many Christians walk away when God doesn’t take them out of there bad situation!  So as Easter is nearly upon us lets look at the Easter story from the beginning, Jesus knew His time was coming, He was going to die to bring glory to God and to save me and you from death! Jesus knew he would be crucified and that what was about to happen was brutal! He was God on earth but He was still a man and He was going to feel every nail, thorn, spear, attack. In the book of Mark we can see His pain but also be gob smacked that even in His fear and agony He still said to God let your will be done.

‘Abba, Father,’ he cried out,‘everything is possible for you, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.’ Mark 14 Vs 36

In the face of trouble He prayed let Gods will be done, I truly believe that if we start to change the way we pray, from God get me out of here to God get me through this and your will be done. We will grow in God and how to handle what is thrown at us! Lets change our prayers to day so we can stand together the army of God against anything and say LET GODS WILL BE DONE!

Hello to all who are reading this, I’ve been overwhelmed by the response to this blog! Its fantastic, someone said I must be famous but I want to share the truth.  I’m not famous and never expect to be this blog is simply to glorify God, thats why I have taken my time to think and pray what to blog next, why? you ask. Well if this blog was just my words, what Susan Rose thinks it would be worthless and boring i can guarantee but INSTEAD i want this blog to be Gods heart to you whether you beleive in Him or not He believes in you!

I have the priviledge to run this ministry but i also work in a coffee shop, i make coffees and clean and do a ministry? My little cafe job is actually a huge blessing to me it gives me some money and it keeps me humbled! Jesus was a carpenter before he started his ministry, some used this against Him but i find that beautiful because it makes my best friend Jesus real! He served working for His father and then served through ministry. There are some out there who run ‘ministries’ to become famous and rich, does that mean someone should’nt be well known or have good things NO WAY I love the ministry of Joyce Meyer and many others and they have worked hard for what they have. Its about the attitude we have towards that stuff, if God said give it up tommorow and they can awesome, God must be first. So why am i telling you all this! To show im real, i simply have a fab job for God and even in the coffee shop im serving God!

Jesus Himself came to earth and claimed to be the light of this world!

John 8 Vs 12

 A big statement then and a big statement today. Back then it led to Jesus being crucified on a cross, his crime absolutely nothing! Today so many find it hard to believe that Jesus is still the light of this world. Why? well you just have to look at the news to see the darkness of this world. The past few weeks haven’t seemed real with earthquakes, tsunami’s, fighting and blood shed all over the news and then you hear Jesus is light of the world that’s really hard to hear! I believe Jesus is the light of the world but i do understand why it is so hard to see! So lets switch the light on shall we? The world has gone into turmoil and so much is happening and some would say these are dark days, so if the world is getting darker then Jesus must get brighter and that means us who believe, your church, home group, university group etc. We carry the light of Jesus Christ, i often see us all as lighthouses and it is living in this light and being an example like Jesus did that makes us shine so bright. So many think its when we go and shout on the streets about hell and condemn others, I don’t believe this is the right way! Jesus was different he showed compassion and love then and He does now! So we who carry this light of Jesus Christ should show the same compassion and love that Jesus did. This might be being there for someone, working hard at your job (being an example) seeing a need and helping someone or a family. Its about being that light for others when all they can see is the darkness, and the only way we can do that is too have Jesus in our hearts. So this week let us all go out and be light houses for God!

Today im just soaking up how amazing it is that we are all unique! Not one of us in the world is the same, that in itself just shows the creativeness and awesomeness of God!  Knowing that we are unique and that God has a unique plan for our lives, brings up the question why do we compare our lives to others?  Something that we all do and do very easily, we compare ourselves. For me its when i go on to facebook and see another wedding announcement or pictures of people living life to the fullest i start to compare which can lead to envy which is a dangerous thing. I look at their lives and moan they have it so easy, their married and i want to be!!! But then God reminds me we are all on our unique paths and we shouldn’t compare! My path with God is very different to yours its tailor made for me! I dont know how you feel about that but I get goosebumps at that thought my path is tailor made by GOD for ME not for anyone else! And you also have a tailor made plan for your life from God! IT may not seem it right now you may be facing huge challenges but He has it all mapped out for us, we simply need to follow him and keep our eyes on where were going not where others are going!

ITs a bit like being in a bike race and instead of looking at where i was pedalling to i look to my right and to my left….CRASH! So lets fix our eyes on Jesus and the path He is leading us as individuals down, our unique and wonderfully made path!!!

Psalm 139 is the bible reading this week! One of my favirote psalms read it and soak up how special you are to God!

When we become saved we step into Gods plans for our lives! And this means stepping into our calling which could be absolutly anything! Each of us has a calling on our lives and and it is individual so never look at what another person is doing and think, ‘I wish…’ because God plan for you will be tailor made for you and amazing. So today the word ‘vision’ is on my heart! God often will give us a vision something about our lives something to do for the kingdom of God, this could be absolutly anything! I do believe it is good to share these visions we have on our hearts why? to inspire each other, in a world that has limitations and no ends of troubles people don’t dare to have a vision especially if it sounds impossible and mad! But i say we must have God given visions and share them to inspire each other to go for the impossible because God can do the impossible.

When God inspired me with this minsitry i was coming through a really hard time and God gave me this vision of a minsitry that used drama not necessarily to do ‘shows’ but to stir up the need for healing in peoples lives from the stuff we all carry emotional and spiritual baggage! WOW big vision can i do this, NO but God can if i allow him and he captured my hear with this vision to see thousands set free for Jesus Christ! Now recently God grew my vision and the next step is for me to move to Ireland and work around Ireland with this minsitry! Why???? so many say its Gods vision for my life the bigger picture and he has captured my heart with it! He is the only one that can move me to Ireland so in His hands it is but i have been inspired and am working towards this vision of Ireland!

In Nehemiah in the bible, Nehemiah is inspired by God with a vision to re-build the wall of Jerusalem! The city was in ruin and the walls torn down yet he had a vision and was inspired to rebuild the walls! Something again that seemed impossible and dangerous but then we see in verse 2 chapter 17 and 18 he tells others and inpires them with his God given vision and so the rebuilding begins!

So today i have shared my vision to you, not to brag, not to seek help but for you to become inspired and to find your own vision from God in your life! Today be inspired and find your vision!!

Hello! So another week clocks by and boy what a week, its been a crazy one but God has been really challenging me the last few weeks about forgiveness! Forgiveness is a tough subject why? because its a very Godly characteristic, the world doesn’t really promote forgiveness. Just look at the magazines on the shelves of the paper shop ‘celeb feuds!’ ‘one celeb tells her side to the story’,  ‘Bitter divorce’, ‘ ‘They hate each other’! Its slammed in our faces DO NOT FORGIVE!!! BUT Jesus came to this earth teaching a completley different way forgive each other and love one another and not just your friends and family thats easy, no he said to love our enemies. This is an incredibly tough thing to get your head around love your enemies, forgive why? Well i have over the past few weeks dealt with conflict, things have been tough and can I just say its ok to find people hard, we all do from time to time so don’t beat yourself up if you struggle with people. So i was faced with a few tough areas of conflict, so what to do? walk away from the people who had hurt me, get revenge, bottle up all i was feeling? Slight problem here when we do that,  bottle it all up i guarantee the only person it destroys is you! I have met people in this minsitry who have become twisted in bitterness and are cold as people because they could’nt forgive and let go of something that happened years ago! Now please hear me some things people go through are awful and im not at all disregarding them as just things that happened. However forgiveness is a huge key to our own healing. Jesus didnt die on that cross just so we could get easter eggs, He died so we could be forgiven from all our stuff and so that we can forgive others and what does that bring pure freedom! When i had dealt with all this  stuff and i drew a line under it all i felt so at peace, something that had been missing ever since it all happened! Now i could ramble on  for ages but i won’t, I today challenge you search your hearts and if there is unforgiveness deal with it why because if we cant forgive, it will put a block between you and God and it  will eat you up inside and only steal YOUR life and YOUR relationship with God! If you are reading this and don’t know the forgiveness and salvation of Jesus Christ what are you waiting for!! There is no contrast to what He offers us and what the world offers us! So im going to write the prayer Jesus taught us all on here just in case you need a springboard to start and some bible verses as we need the word of God it is the truth! And will bring us life!

Be blessed guys this your moment with God!

Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven. Give us our food for today, and forgive us our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but deliver us from the evil one,For thine is the kingdom the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen

So this week has been a really crazy one! But finally i have managed to get to my computor and its time to blog! Five years ago i was a very different person, God often reminds me daily how much i have changed because of Him. Learning to do drama I became a true ‘drama queen’ my emotions went up and down like a yo yo and I never really felt settled in who I was. I grew up as a chritian so i thought it would just roll on and it did i knew God and would pray when i wanted something and then five years ago God took me away from all my suze made ‘comfort’ areas and he showed me that the foundations my life was built on was not healthy. My knowledge of God love for me was weak, i cared more about other peoples opinions than God’s, so that when someone i resepected said something negative my foundations rocked! I looked to clothes, popularity, relationships but that all came tumbling down as there were no good foundations!

As a child in sunday school i was taught a song about the wise man who built his house upon a rock and the unwise who built his house on some sand, and thats exactly what God was saying to me do you want to build your life on My truth and go my way (which is the rock) or do you want to build your life on sand everything the world offers us and will eventually come crashing down. Well i chose God and my foundations started to come together again and get stronger in Jesus! Now this is me just saying this it is really your choice as God loves us so much he gives us a choice!

Bible verse Luke 6 Vs 47-49

‘I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to my teaching, and then follows it. It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built. But anyone who hears and doesnt obey is like a person who builds a house without foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins’.
